If the rumors and announcements about the 2015 Kia GT4 Stinger Concept based vehicle come true we might be getting one really interesting and sporty car. Here is another set of images that are delivered even before the official debut.
Release date of this concept has been scheduled for 2014 Detroit Auto Show where we will be getting additional information’s. On the images that we have for now it is obvious that this could be one quite competitive sporty car with great design and specs that promise a lot of fun.
2015 Kia GT4 Stinger Release Date
Under the hood we will be getting the 2.0 liter inline four cylinder engine that will deliver up to 315 hp like in the concept version. Since this will be a 2+2 vehicle with a rear wheel drive which is a great setup for many we expect it to be praised and that explains the highly anticipating crowd and positive comments on info that we have until now.
Main competition to the 2015 Kia GT4 Stinger will be the Hyundai Genesis Coupe but if the 315 hp engine is delivered in combination with great looks and rear wheel drive than this vehicle will have much serious problems with competition. Among those competitors we could see 2015 Ford Mustang that will be offered with EcoBoost turbocharged engine and similar amount of power.
For best performances, power of this turbo unit will be transferred to rear wheels through a six speed manual transmission that will have close ratios allowing great accelerations and performances. On the rear we will be getting Pirelli P-Zero performance tires in 275/35/R20 dimensions while on the from the tires will be fitted but in 235/35/R20 dimension.
For the 2015 Kia GT4 Stinger we will be getting custom 20 inch aluminum wheels that will come with carbon fiber inserts that will reduce weight and improve strength of these alloys. With decent amount of power we need brake force that is delivered by Brembo Gran Turismo two piece cross drilled rotors that come with four piston calipers.
